As of Oct 23, 2025, 6 PM) The depression system over the southeastern Arabian Sea is moving slowly in a north-northeasterly direction. Over the next 48 hours, it is expected to continue moving north-northeast toward the east-central Arabian Sea.
The system is likely to maintain its depression status, and there is a slight possibility that within 72 hours it may intensify into a deep depression. By October 27–28, it may reach the east-central Arabian Sea, positioned south of Saurashtra and west of the Konkan coast of Maharashtra.
Currently, the system is unlikely to move directly over Gujarat, but its indirect impact may bring thunderstorms and scattered rain across Saurashtra, Central, and South Gujarat between October 26 and 29. Some areas may experience moderate to heavy rainfall (Mavthu).
As the system’s track may change, the duration and intensity of rainfall could vary. Further updates will be issued accordingly.
