Under the Urban Development Week 2025 organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), a special program was held in the presence of Mayor Smt. Pratibhaben Jain, Members of Parliament, Municipal Commissioner Shri Banchhanidhi Pani, MLAs, and other dignitaries. During the event, development works worth ₹27 crore were inaugurated.




Highlights of the program:
- 7 beneficiaries were provided with Ayushman Cards, ABHA Cards, and Vandana Cards, and 12 self-employed individuals received loan sanction letters under the PM SVANidhi Scheme.
- 4 outstanding sanitation workers were honored with awards for their dedicated efforts toward city cleanliness.
- 3 tuberculosis (TB) patients were given nutrition kits, reflecting a humane initiative toward their health care.
- Safety kits (Safai Suraksha Mitra Kits) were distributed to enhance safety and empowerment among sanitation workers.
- Winners of the Swachh Navratri Festival and the Eco-friendly Ganpati Festival (zone-wise first-place winners) were also felicitated.
- The Lokmanya Tilak Trophy was presented to promote a sense of competitive cleanliness among citizens.
- A draw was conducted for 1,108 rehabilitated houses and 45 shops built by the AMC.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation remains committed to citizen welfare and urban development.
