Surat: Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel on Friday inaugurated the Trade Show and Exhibition held as part of the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference’ in Surat, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to accelerating industrial and economic growth in South Gujarat.

The event was attended by Union Minister C. R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, along with senior officials, industry leaders, and stakeholders from various sectors.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted that the conference and exhibition aim to create new opportunities for investment, innovation, and employment in South Gujarat. He emphasized that the initiative aligns with the broader vision of making Gujarat a global hub for industry, trade, and entrepreneurship.

The Trade Show showcased a wide range of sectors including textiles, chemicals, engineering, MSMEs, and emerging technologies, reflecting Surat’s strong industrial ecosystem and its growing role in India’s economic landscape.
