Today in Assam, twelve people were killed on the spot and eight others seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling hit a truck on NH-37 in Assam’s Golaghat district,informed police.
The victims, five women and seven men, were travelling from Dhakuakhana in Lakhimpur district to Dergaon. Their vehicle collided with the heavily-loaded truck at Lotabari early this morning, killing 12 persons on the spot.
