In Ahmedabad, 25 female students of Sahajanand College of Nursing in Gandhinagar have been admitted to a Chandkheda hospital for food poisoning. On Monday morning students complained of vomiting and loose motions.
The students, who stay in the college hostel, had eaten sweets in breakfast in the hostel canteen. as per hospital sources students came to them in the afternoon and were severely dehydrated. They were immediately put on IV fluids. One of the students alleged, “Our canteen doesn’t maintain any hygiene and often serves us stale food.”
