Today 5 persons were held by SOG Special Operations Group with Rs 1 crore Old Currency notes at Rajkot.
Out of 5 arrested by SOG, 3 persons came to Rajkot for exchanging old scrapped notes at a commission of 22 % on the total amount. The notes were in denominations of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
2 persons out of 5 belonged to Jamnagar.
SOG has taken custody of old notes and informed IT Income Tax Department.
SOG has further started investigation.
