68 fishermen released from Pakistan jail arrive at Vadodara
Today, 68 fishermen released from Pakistan jail arrived hometown in Gujarat via Vadodara.
These fishermen were arrested in December 2016 and were in Karanchi jail for 10 months.
They return from Pakistan through Wagah border and from Amritsar to Vadodara by Golden Temple Mail. From Vadodara, they will taken to Veraval Regional Office and after some formalities they will be set free.
Release of fishermen was possible due to constant efforts of Fisheries Department and support from government.
Fishermen and their families felt releaved on seeing them backhome.
68 fishermen belong to Veraval , Diu, Una, Kodinar, Jamnagar and Valsad.
