In the country, regarding concern of “vote theft” for democracy, GPCC Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee re-telecasted the factual, documented, and sealed details presented by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, about vote theft in Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency. The presentation was held at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in the presence of journalists.

Launching a sharp attack on BJP for attempting to destroy democracy through vote theft, GPCC Media Convener and Spokesman Manish Doshi stated that the entire nation has been shaken by “vote theft.” BJP government and its allies were found to be engaging in vote theft in different ways. In different constituencies, instances were found of fake voters, fake photographs, and misuse of Form 6. The issue of this widespread vote theft was brought before the nation. It is the constitutional responsibility of Election Commission to conduct elections impartially. Congress leaders raise questions to the Election Commission, but instead of Election Commission answering, BJP is replying them.
In Mahadevpura, manipulation in the voter list took place in 5 main ways:
Duplicate voters: The same person’s name appearing more than once in the same voter list — totaling 11,975 duplicates.
False addresses: 40,009 voters listed with non-existent “House No. 0.”
Multiple voters at one address: 10,452 voters shown as residing at the same address.
Invalid photographs: 4,132 voters with extremely small or blurred photographs.
Misuse of Form No. 6: 33,692 voters with false names added.
Rahul Gandhi posed five questions to the Election Commission in the Lok Sabha:
Why don’t you provide the voters’ list in a digital, machine-readable format to the people of India?
Why are you destroying video evidence?
Why is the Election Commission committing large-scale fraud in the voter list?
Why is the Election Commission behaving like an agent of the BJP?
Instead of answering questions, why is Election Commission threatening the Opposition?
In Gujarat too, GPCC will conduct a detailed investigation in 4 zones. In each zone, Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly seats will be identified, and instances of vote theft will be exposed to public.
GPCC spokespersons Nidatt Barot, Hiren Banker, and Parthivraj Kathwadia were Present at the presentation held at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in Ahmedabad.
