Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel chaired a high-level review meeting in Gandhinagar to assess the progress of various departments in reference to the Governance Performance Index (GPI) through the CM Dashboard, and provided necessary guidance to senior officials.

It is noteworthy that Gujarat, which has been established as a national role model for good governance, continues to strengthen its citizen-centric governance approach and ensure real-time monitoring of scheme implementation and administrative performance. With this objective, the CM Dashboard was conceptualized and implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

This technology-driven initiative enables effective monitoring, evaluation, and timely execution of government schemes and programs. The CM Dashboard has emerged as a benchmark platform for public welfare-oriented governance and performance assessment, inspiring other states across the country.

Taking forward Gujarat’s strong tradition of good governance with renewed momentum, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel has facilitated the development of a comprehensive Governance Performance Index (GPI) through the CM Dashboard. The GPI allows for holistic assessment of departmental performance, accountability, and service delivery, reinforcing transparency, efficiency, and outcomes-based governance in the state.
