An acid attack incident was reported in Ahmedabad, specifically in the Naroda area, creating panic and anger among local residents.

The incident took place in the Neelkamal Society, where a young woman was injured in the attack. She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, locals expressed strong outrage and raised slogans against the police administration, alleging negligence and demanding stricter action.
The situation led to tension in the area as residents called for improved safety measures and justice for the victim.
Upon receiving information about this incident, the police took note of the complainant’s representation and the seriousness of the matter. Accordingly, an offence has been registered at Sardarnagar Police Station vide FIR No. 11191040260757/2026 under Section 124(1) of the BNS and legal proceedings have been initiated. The complainant had suspicion and doubt on his father, therefore he has been immediately taken into custody and is being questioned. Further investigation is underway based on CCTV footage, human intelligence, and technical analysis.
