Ahmedabad, June 15, 2026: Smt SR Mehta Arts College, which is part of Navgujarat Group of Colleges, has expressed pride over the achievement of its alumnus Shivam Shukla. He was part of the coaching staff of the Indian senior women’s volleyball team that won a bronze medal at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
“Shukla’s contribution to the Indian team’s successful campaign has brought pride not only to the institution, but also to Gujarat and the country’s sporting fraternity,” said Dr Dharmshi Desai, Principal, Smt SR Mehta Arts College.
On the occasion, Shukla credited his mentors, including Dr Dharmshi Desai, principal Dr Darsha Jani, professor Dr Seema Kadri and the entire SR Mehta Arts College family for their continued guidance and support.
