Ahmedabad, 29 June 2026: Adani University today welcomed 120 students to the MBA in Infrastructure Management Batch of 2026-28 reflecting the programme’s growing appeal among aspiring infrastructure professionals.
Addressing the incoming cohort, President Dr. Priti G. Adani urged students to embrace purpose-driven leadership and recognise infrastructure as a powerful force for improving lives, strengthening communities and contributing to nation-building. Dr Adani said, “Infrastructure is much more than roads, airports, ports, energy systems or smart cities. It is about improving lives, connecting communities, strengthening the economy and contributing to nation-building.”

She encouraged students to make the most of every opportunity to learn, collaborate and engage with industry, emphasising that integrity, compassion and a commitment to excellence would define their success as much as professional achievement.
The MBA in Infrastructure Management programme combines an industry-integrated curriculum, AI-enabled learning and experiential field exposure with a strong emphasis on solving real-world challenges. Designed to bridge academic learning with industry practice, it equips students with the knowledge, skills and perspectives needed to address the evolving needs of the infrastructure sector.
The induction programme began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, marking the start of the students’ academic journey. Speakers reflected on the transformation underway across the infrastructure sector, driven by digital technologies, sustainability, renewable energy and artificial intelligence, while encouraging students to prepare for the opportunities and responsibilities that lie ahead.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Arun Kumar Sharma, Guest of Honour; Prof. (Dr.) Dhaval Pujara, Provost; Prof. Amish Vyas, Registrar; Prof. Sandip Solanki, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences; Prof. Baishali Mitra; Dr. Namita Pragya; faculty members, students and their parents.
Welcoming the new cohort, Adani University reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing professionals who combine technical excellence with integrity, innovation and a deep sense of purpose, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to India’s infrastructure development and nation-building.
