4 August 2026 Gandhinagar: The Governor of Gujarat has summoned the ninth session of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, with the three-day Monsoon Session scheduled to be held from September 8 to September 10.
The announcement was made by Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, who said the Assembly will convene for three sittings during the session. The Monsoon Session is expected to witness discussions on key public issues, government policies, and legislative business. Members of the Opposition are also likely to raise matters of public importance and seek responses from the state government.
The session will begin on September 8 and conclude on September 10, with the House expected to take up official business, including the introduction and consideration of government bills, if any, along with other legislative proceedings.
