Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad City SOG Crime Branch has seized 672 grams of hybrid cannabis and ₹20.98 lakh in cash during a narcotics operation in the Krishnanagar area.
According to police, the action was carried out at a house in Jai Raghunath Society, opposite Shivam School. The total value of the seized narcotics, cash and other property has been estimated at around ₹45.25 lakh.
Police have arrested 25-year-old Rahul Gade in connection with the case. During the preliminary investigation, the accused is being questioned to determine the source of the narcotic substance and identify the person or persons to whom it was allegedly intended to be delivered.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Ahmedabad City DCB Police Station. Further investigation is currently underway.
