Toronto, Canada: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a roundtable meeting in Toronto with around 30 representatives of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), including startup founders, entrepreneurs and TiE members, as part of preparations for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2027.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister discussed the forward-looking vision of building a globally competitive innovation-driven economy under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
CM Patel highlighted Gujarat’s growing role as a growth engine of India’s development and discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration and partnerships between Canadian enterprises and Gujarat-based businesses, particularly in technology, public policy, financial services and fintech.
He also briefed TiE members on Gujarat’s robust startup ecosystem, investor-friendly policies and world-class infrastructure, highlighting the state’s growing attractiveness as a destination for investment and innovation.
The Chief Minister invited TiE members and Canadian entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for investment, innovation and business scaling in Gujarat ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2027.
The interaction underlined Gujarat’s efforts to deepen international business partnerships and create new avenues for collaboration between its entrepreneurial ecosystem and the global business community.
