The Gujarat government has carried out a series of police transfers and appointments in September 2026. The reshuffle includes transfers of police inspectors and senior police officers across Ahmedabad and other parts of the state.
On September 15, seven Police Inspectors (PIs) were transferred, including Y.G. Gurjar, who was moved from the ATS to Ahmedabad Rural. Six other PIs were appointed to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).
On September 18, another order transferred and appointed 10 IPS and State Police Service officers. Among the appointments, Mansi R. Meena was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Viramgam Division, Ahmedabad district.
The latest transfers are part of the Gujarat Police Department’s ongoing administrative reshuffle.
