Today, on 66th Republic Day, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel unfurled flag at Devbhoomi Dwarka, in the state-wide Republic Day celebration.
CM Anandiben Patel was accompanied by Gujarat Governor OM Prakash Kohli at Republic Day celebration. State officials and people of Dwarka saluted Indian Tricolor.
For the first time, all 3-wings of Armed Forces , Army, Navy and Air Force including 23 women platoons participated in the march past parades of state Republic Day celebrations.
CM was happy to note that ‘Nari Shakti and Beti Bachao’ as theme of Republic Day celebration showed PM Narendra Modi and his government’s commitment towards the cause of women empowerment.
