RSS Rashtriya SwayamSevak Sangh to organise a Short Film Festival in Ahmedabad by February 2020. Official statement was made by RSS representative about the film festival.
11 sub categories of short film , includes bravery, security and Indian culture. Bollywood director Subhash Ghai had launched a website in this connection recently. Bollywood personalities including director Subhash Ghai and Actor Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and politicians associated with Bollywood industry are likely to participate in the event.
RSS feels that short film festival is a powerful medium to uplift youth talent and spread message across society. RSS is venturing into newer areas. Every two years it is holding film festival as a regular practice.
This time, 1200 short films are likely to take part in the festival.
