ACB Gujarat’s Successful Trap based on Complainant by a vigilant citizen.

Meenaben, wife of Ketan Kumar Patel. (Both residents of Brahmani Nagar Society, Vijapur Road, Himmatnagar, District Sabarkantha).
On 22 September 2025 Bribe Demanded of ₹ 5 lakhs and Bribe Accepted ₹4 lakhs which was Recovered also by the ACB team.
At Oran-Kathpur Toll Naka, Taluka Prantij, District Sabarkantha, accused No. 1 demanded a bribe of ₹5 lakhs from the complainant to “settle” a complaint that he himself had filed against the complainant with the ACB. Since the complainant was unwilling to pay the bribe, he approached the ACB.
During today’s trap operation, Accused No. 1 was caught red-handed after engaging in incriminating conversation with the complainant, accepting the bribe money and handing over the money to Accused No. 2. Both accused were arrested at the spot, and the entire amount of ₹4 lakhs was recovered.
Trapping Officer NB Solanki, PI, ACB Staff, Field-2, Gujarat, Ahmedabad and Supervision Officer NN Jadav,In-charge Deputy Director, ACB Field-2, Gujarat, Ahmedabad set the trap operation and got success.
