In Ahmedabad’s BMW Hit and Run accused Vismay Shah gets bail from the Supreme Court. Ahmedabad Rural Court had granted 5 years jail term to Vismay, which was subsequently turned down by Gujarat High Court.
The 27-year-old BMW owner Vismay shah was arrested after he surrendered before Ahmedabad police in connection with a hit-and-run case at judged Bungalow.
One of the victims,Shivam Dave,an engineering student,was killed on the spot. CCTV footage of a high-speed BMW crashing into the motorcycle of Shivam Dave and Rahul Patel, both aspiring engineers, had shocked Ahmedabad residents in 24 February 2013. While Shivam died on the spot, Rahul succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
