11 May 2026: In order to prevent and solve cyber crimes, under the instructions of Mr. G.S.Malik, Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad City, with the guidance of Mr.Sharad Singhal Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, and under the supervision of Dr.Lavina Sinha Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Branch and Mr.H.S.Makadiya, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Branch. As part of these, an employee of Gujcel office, located at the Ahmedabad Airport filed a complaint stating that an email was received by the Director of Gujcel on March 25, 2026. The body of the email contained the following threat: “Gujcel blast eid ka tofa modi and shah I will kill you Bomb blast in all schools mera bhai saurab biswas ko rihae karo wait and watch all boom blast”
Considering the gravity of this email, a complaint was immediately registered, and an investigation was launched to apprehend the perpetrator. Upon receiving the complaint and recognizing the seriousness of the offense as directed by senior officers, Police Inspector Mr. M.H. Bhetariya and his team requested information regarding the email ID used in the crime bhavesh4518@gmail.com. Through technical analysis and human intelligence, they tracked the details of the email account holder. The investigation revealed that the location of the account holder was within Ahmedabad city. So, they investigate about accused and Accused Bhavesh S/o Amrutbhai Patel, Age:40, Occupation: Businessman Residence:House No. 10, New Pushpak Society, Opposite Darshan Flats, Hansol, Sardarnagar, Ahmedabad City – 382475 is arrested by I.O
The mobile phone seized from the accused contained the email ID used in the crime as well as the threatening email mentioned in the complaint. Following his arrest, police custody (remand) has been sought to investigate the motives behind the crime, whether he received assistance from anyone else, and whether he is associated with any terrorist organizations or gangs involved in subversive activities within the country.
The accused, Bhavesh Amrutbhai Patel, has studied up to B.Com and is involved in the construction business. Further investigation is currently underway.
