Ahmedabad: Panic spread among residents after a leopard was spotted late at night inside a housing society in the Ghuma area of Ahmedabad.
According to preliminary information, the wild animal was seen moving within the society premises, prompting residents to immediately alert the Forest Department. Officials responded swiftly, and a team reached the area early on Monday morning to begin an extensive search operation.
Forest Department personnel are conducting a thorough combing operation in and around the society and nearby open areas to trace the leopard and ensure the safety of residents. Officials have urged people not to venture out alone in the early morning or late at night and to immediately report any fresh sightings to the authorities.
The presence of the leopard has created concern among local residents, while the Forest Department is closely monitoring the situation. Further updates are expected once the animal is located or safely rescued.
