Today in Ahmedabad, couple of Chandkheda was booked in connection with bogus Call Centre case. Based on a clue on December 19, police registered case against the couple for running bogus call centre and found some evidence against the couple. Police took custody of laptop found from the couple staying at Parmeshwarpark society on rent. From Laptop one MagicJack software and a bogus warrant of American Sessions Court.
Couple was extracting money from US citizens in the name of Internal Revenue Services in the name of different loans and extracting money from US citizens by showing the warrant.
Information obtained from couple’s laptop has been sent to Cyber Cell and further details will be revealed only after getting report from Cyber Cell.
Police is trying to investigate that how much money and from how many people have been extracted by the couple.
