In Ahmedabad, one girl of Rakhial tried to commit suicide from Dudheshwar bridge. Girl harassed by antisocial tried suicide as a last step. She had made complaint to police on which police did not take any action.
Family of Aslam Sodha is staying in Garib Aavas at Ajit Mill cross road.Family has Suraiyabanu an elder daughter, one minor girl and son of age 13 years. Before they shifted to Rakhial, family of Farookh had come to stay there. Farookh had bad intention with Suraiyabanu and her younger sister. Farookh went upto such an extent that he started watching porn films in his house and started doing objectionable gestures. Also he gave threat to girls to kill them, if they disclosed about his gestures to anyone. Suraiyabanu still opposed on which Farookh got excited and attacked her.
Suraiyabanu got her fingures fractured as a result. She made police complaint against Farookh. Angry Farookh entered Aslambhai’s house with loafer boys and ransacked his house and beaten the family members. Aslambhai and two daughters had to be admitted to hospital. Rakhial police has not taken any action in this regard. Frightened family had gone to stay at Parking place near Police Commissioner Office. Taking shelter at nearby Dargah. On police being silent on the issue Suraiyabanu was forced to commit suicide, as per source.
Enquiry of the case has been handed over to DCP zone-5. Sodha family gave application to Police Commissioner after which police has started enquiry with a deadline to submit report within a day.
