Ahmedabad Police issued Traffic Advisory during Tazia Procession on July 6

The Ahmedabad Police have issued an advisory for road closures and suggest alternate routes. Commuters should expect delays and plan their travel accordingly.
For July 6th (Sunday) when the Tazia processions for Muharram will be taking place in Ahmedabad city. Road closures and diversions, particularly during 2 PM to 12 AM, on routes associated with the processions. City Police have released a traffic advisory, advising citizens to be aware of the affected routes and plan their travel accordingly.
The Tazia procession will follow its traditional route, starting from Bhadra Plaza Marg and passing through Bhadrakali temple, Telegraph Office, and Old Advance Cinema, according to the Tazia Committee. Specific road closures include areas like Delhi Chakla to Mirzapur, Shahpur Darwaza to Mirzapur Chowk, and others, as listed in the advisory.
No Parking Zones will be declared by police. The entire route of the procession will be designated as a “No Parking” zone.
As an alternate route, Commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion and delays. The traffic police and Tazia committee will be working to manage the traffic and ensure the safety of the procession and the public.
