In Ahmedabad on 2nd March, 2017,Novotel Ahmedabad hosted a special 10-day Rajasthani Food Festival at the Square from 3rd March, to 12th March, 2017. This week long festival will give a perfect opportunity to the food-oholics to experience the authentic flavours of Rajasthani cuisine while revelling in live regional music.
The guests arriving at the hotel will get to savour the best of the Rajasthani dishes prepared bya Rajasthani Maharaj himself, who hails from the Royal city of Jodhpur.
Novotel Ahmedabad’s Executive Chef, Rakesh Prasad, along with the Maharaj meticulously crafted the menu for the festival in an endeavour to please discerning guest palates with diverse dishes from across the state of Rajasthan.
The festival would witness signature dishes like Rajasthani Dana, Methiki Sabji, Bajreki Roti, Tikkad, Makkaiki Roti, assorted Baati, ranging from plain to spicy, and with a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian stuffing, Choorma with lehsunki chutney, delightful combination of curries, pickles, papad, breads and desserts.
Speaking on the occasion, Tejus Jose, General Manager, Novotel Ahmedabad, shared, “In our Specially designed food festival, we want guests to relish some of the finest dishes of Rajasthan made with authentic ingredients. The reason for having such food festivals is to bring the flavours from other cities and states, to Ahmedabad. With this we can taste other exciting cuisines without having to step out of the city.”
