In Ahmedabad’s, Patidar boy of Bapunagar area, Shwetang Patel’s custodial death case, during investigation by CID Crime Branch based statements of 4 others who were in the same lockup on the night of that incident. This 4 under trial prisoners are presently in Sabarmati Central Jail. They said that Shwetang twice became unconscious in the lockup about which police was communicated but no police turned up to see his condition.
With fresh investigation and statements of other prisons on that night, now identification parade of which police staff on duty at the the time of incident has started. On the other hand it has come out that Shwetang’s death happened to torture.
Concerned police staff and officer is being traced out who were on duty at that the time of incident.
