‘AI Innovation Challenge’ launched by Gujarat CM
On an initiative of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel ‘AI Centre of Excellence’ and ‘AI Innovation Challenge’ was inaugurated at GIFT City today. Representatives from DST Department of Science and Technology Mona Khandhar Principal Secretary, Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, Rajkumar Chief Secretary were present among dignitaries. On the occasion, Chief Minister called upon various SMEs, Deep-Tech companies of the state to make transformative contributions using cutting-edge technology.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Patel that under the able guidance of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Gujarat is making strides towards becoming a hub of AI Artificial Intelligence and technology-based development. He described the centre launched today at GIFT City as important milestone in developing AI-based solutions in various fields. ‘Gujarat AI Task-Force’ formed with the resolve to make Gujarat a leader in India’s AI revolution and state government’s plan to enhance the well-being of citizens through AI technology. Giving further outline Chief Minister’s plan is to build a ‘Viksit Gujarat’ with focus on smart technology-based development in Gujarat.
