In Ahmedabad there was a big protest and ruckus in two days long Budget Session of AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation regarding Adani’s tax. There has been a lot of protest in AMC budget regarding Adani tax. Opposition during Budget Session asked why tax worth Crores of rupees tax to be collected from Adani, is it not being collected. Opposition has made accusition. Due to heavy protest and shouting, the budget session was suspended for 30 minutes. Opposition called corporation an agent of Adani, while BJP’s councillors called Congress an agent of Pakistan, there was a big protest.
In two days AMC budget which started on Sunday to present Rs 9482 crores Budget, issue of Adani Tax was raised by Congress councillors.
