Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Chavda visits families affected by “Bulldozer actions.”
“Maru Ghar – Maru Swabhiman (My Home – My Dignity) movement is the voice for poor and those rendered homeless in the name of development by the anti-poor policies of BJP government,” said Amit Chavda.
“Congress is committed to securing justice for families across Gujarat who have fallen victim to BJP’s unjust bulldozer policy,” stated Amit Chavda.
On Maru Ghar – Maru Swabhiman Movement At Sabarmati and Sarkhej in Ahmedabad, Amit Chavda, GPCC Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President met the victim families who suffered due to bulldozer actions. He listened to their problems and grievances and assured them of justice.Chavda further added that by engaging with the families affected by BJP government’s oppressive bulldozer policy, Congress would strongly raise its voice against anti-poor policies of BJP and for those displaced in the name of development. He declared the launch of the “Maru Ghar – Maru Swabhiman” movement for such families in Gujarat. He emphasized, “Just as the freedom fighters once fought against oppressive British rule, the time has come to fight a new battle for freedom against this dictatorship BJP regime.”
The program, led by Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Chavda, witnessed participation from Ahmedabad City Congress President Sonal Patel, MLA Imran Khedawala, Leader of Opposition in Municipal Corporation Shri Shehzadkhan Pathan, Deputy Leader Nirav Bakshi, along with a large number of Congress leaders, workers, and victim families.
