Ahmedabad, 08th October, 2025: Arihant School of Pharmacy, under Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, successfully conducted an Orientation Program for newly admitted Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) students on Tuesday at the University Seminar Hall. The event was organized to familiarize the incoming batch with the academic structure, faculty, and resources available on campus.

The two-hour program began with registration, refreshments, and a lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the start of a new academic journey. This was followed by a prayer session and a welcome address by Principal Dr. Upendra Patel, who provided an overview of the program and shared insights on the importance of commitment and discipline in the pharmaceutical field.

Mr. Minesh Prajapati, Head, SIE scheme and programs introduced students to the Swarrnim Incubation Center, highlighting its role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students. Later, Ms. Anuja Gupta, General Manager- T&P Cell guided participants through the activities of the Training and Placement Cell, emphasizing career development opportunities. Asst Professor Ms. Ankita Chandwani gave a detailed presentation about the University and its programs, acquainting students with the institution’s academic and cultural environment.

The session also included introductions of the teaching faculty, allowing students to engage with their mentors and understand the department’s academic support system. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sandip Patel, Head of the Department of Pharmacy.

Speaking about the event, Dr. Patel emphasized that such orientation programs are essential for helping students adjust to the new academic setting, utilize campus resources effectively, and build meaningful connections.
