Before Dudhsagar Dairy elections, former Home Minister and Dairy chairman Vipul Chaudhary was arrested Chaudhary was arrested in connection with Sagardan scam by CID today.
Chaudhary was also Former Dudhsagar dairy chief when, in 2014, he was sacked from both GCMMF and Dudhsagar dairy after facing corruption charges in connection with Rs 22 crore cattle fodder scam. Under the scam, the GCMMF was supposed to send cattle fodder to Maharashtra.
After Vipul Chaudhary’s arrest Written statement released by him. There is no scam in sending Sagar Dan to Maharashtra. Total 11.25 crores has been deposited in the dairy in the case.Vipul Chaudhary had to make sell agreement of land worth Rs 9 crores to repay outstanding Rs 11.25 crores.
Vipul Chaudhary’s four-day remand granted. 14-days remand was sought by CID Crime Chaudhary accused of Rs 22 crores scam. Vipul Chaudhary will be questioned on the issue of Sagar Dan scam.
