On Saturday morning at 10:00 am, Bhavnagar residents will take out a silent car and bike rally to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in accidents between Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar on a short route to Bhavnagar via Dholera. The rally will be taken out in presence of saints and religious persons. It will pass from Sardarnagar circle to Lakadiya Bridge. Present route is in unmaintained condition. There is long pending demand to convert this route into a 4 lane track.
This route is proved to deadly taking average one life a day, as per sources.
Recently, one Deputy Collector Pankajsinh Jadeja died with his family during accident on Ahmedabad Bhavnagar road in a car luxury bus accident.
