Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the 74th Senior National Basketball Championship at Bhavnagar. On the occasion, in the presence of Chief Minister Patel, the state government announced an assistance of Rs. 30 lakhs to the Basketball Federation. Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said due to vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sports culture has developed in the entire India including Gujarat.
CM was accompanied by state ministers, sports dignitaries and sports persons from various states of the India.
He outlined the plans for hosting the Olympics in 2036 and congratulated the athletes participating in this tournament and wished them to bring glory to the country and their state in the world.
