Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the first BIMSTEC Youth Summit organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Union Minister Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse and representatives of 7 member countries and a large number of youth were present in the event.

The Chief Minister Patel called the organization of this summit, which was established with the aim of establishing mutual participation in various sectors among the countries surrounding the Bay of Bengal, as ‘Right Job at Right Place’ and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged the youth to build a developed India. He said that the summit will be an inspiration for the world welfare by highlighting the image of India as a world fraternity and giving an example of the campaign. Referring to the noble purpose of the summit, CM expressed confidence that the land of Gujarat, well-equipped to become a Gateway to the future through development and application of futuristic technology, will serve as a catalyst for the youth to become servants in building a prosperous future for the world.
