A Booth Workers’ Conference of the BJP was heldin Sukhsar village of Dahod district, Gujarat, in the presence of Gujarat BJP State President Jagdish Vishwakarma. The event was part of organizational strengthening efforts ahead of upcoming local body elections.

According to an official release by the Gujarat BJP media cell, the conference was held for the Fatepura विधानसभा constituency. Prior to the event, Vishwakarma visited the residence of Booth No. 138 president Jentibhai Khanabhai Parmar, where he interacted with the family.

Addressing party workers, Vishwakarma extended greetings on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri and began his speech with the slogan “Jai Johar, Jai Adivasi.” He expressed happiness on large turnout and highlighted his recent travels across tribal regions from Ambaji to Umargam, where he interacted closely with tribal communities.

He emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, several welfare schemes have been implemented for the all-round development of tribal areas. He pointed out improvements in irrigation, stating that projects worth ₹5,500 crore have been approved to ensure water reaches farmers’ fields. He also noted advancements in road connectivity, linking villages to state and national highways.
Highlighting central schemes, Vishwakarma said initiatives such as Ayushman cards, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, housing for the गरीब, and free ration have significantly benefited tribal communities. He added that solar energy facilities are being provided to tribal households and farmers, and educational initiatives like Eklavya schools are helping tribal children access better opportunities.
He also credited Prime Minister Modi for giving due recognition to tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.
Targeting the opposition, Vishwakarma criticized the Indian National Congress, stating that despite ruling for decades, the party failed to ensure development of tribal communities and treated them merely as a vote bank. He alleged that Congress leaders remain absent among the जनता after elections, unlike BJP workers who stay connected with people’s concerns.
He further accused Congress of promoting dynastic politics, mentioning leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi as examples of family-based leadership.
Vishwakarma also claimed that Congress leaders fail to stand with farmers during natural disasters, while BJP workers actively support affected communities and ensure government aid reaches beneficiaries directly.
At the conclusion of his speech, he urged party workers to strengthen the organization with the mantra “Mera Booth Sabse Majboot” and appealed to voters to support BJP candidates in the upcoming local self-government elections.
The event was attended by several leaders including state minister Rameshbhai Katara, BJP state general secretary Hitendrasinh Chauhan, state minister Shankarbhai Ambaliyar, MP Jasvantsinh Bhabhor, and other local party leaders and workers.
