Today in Gandhinagar, Gujarat state announced that from 1 October in 16 districts of the state to handle SC/ST cases, Atrocity courts will be established including districts jurisdictions of Ahmedabad rural, Anand, Palanpur, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhuj, Mehsana, Patan, Rajkot, Surat, Surendranagar, Vadodara and City Civil Court Ahmedabad.
Today, at Bhimnagar near Udhana Railway station at Surat two persons were trying to cross railway track meets with an accident. One person was killed on the spot while crossing railway track and other got seriously injured who has been taken to hospital.
