In Ahmedabad, a threat call allegedly dialled from a Pakistani number caused panic at Taj Skyline Hotel on Sindhu Bhavan Road late on Friday night. An emergency response from multiple security agencies was given. After a 4 hour rigorous search, police confirmed that no explosives were found on the hotel premises. As per officials, the call was received on the hotel’s landline around midnight. The caller reportedly threatened to “vacate the hotel in 5 minutes or face a bomb blast”. Security officer relayed the alarming message to the hotel’s Director of Security. He from hotel immediately alerted the police control room. In no time Sarkhej police station, the city crime branch, the bomb disposal squad, and a dog squad reached the site and made a rigorous search at the hotel premises.
