Today in Ahmedabad, residents of Kailash Colony of Indrapuri Ward near CTM cross road rushed to roads protesting against notice from AMC authorities and the builder for demolition of houses.
CTM residents were complaining that we are staying in the society for nearly 50 years and regularly paying Tax, Electricity bills. Suddenly a TP schme has been announced in the society to benefit a builder and threatening to demolish 57 houses. Actually, one builder has a plot behind our society to give him benefit TP scheme has announced which is not agreeable to us.
We have raised this issue of threat by builder to AMC, Gujarat govt and even upto Narendra Modi but there is response said localites. There are some widows among Kailash Society residents, who complain that if we are driven out where we will go and we do not capacity to purchase another house.
Builder and his people and even AMC are giving us threats to vacate the society or else we will demolish the houses. Even, once he brought the Bulldozer. We sat before AMC in protest against demolition but it is in vain complains residents.
