Gujarat Swine Flu: 38 new cases; death toll 5

Today 38 new Swine Flu cases were registered with Ahmedabad 10, Surat 11, Jamnagar 3 and other districts 14. Today’s death toll reached at 5 Surat-Vadodara-Gandhinagar-Sabarkantha and Dwarka 1 each. Progress total from 1 Jan 2015 became 6186. Total death toll reached 392 and number of pateients cured 5295.

Opposition leaders protested in Gujarat Assembly on compensation to farmers

Today in Gandhinagar, Opposition protested over compensation to farmers due to effect on crop of unseasonal rain. Opposition leaders were suspended for one day. Minister Babubhai Bokhiriya clarified that survey on loss to farmers is being conducted and compensation to farmers will be given thereafter.
