The Centre may opt for fresh Assembly elections in Delhi if no party or group is in a position to form a government in the national capital in the present circumstances. A top government functionary said the Home Ministry will wait for a report from the Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on his efforts on exploring the possibility of government in Delhi.
