Ahmedabad, October 30, 2026 : Chhattisgarh Tourism, with FICCI as the Industry Partner, will organise the Chhattisgarh Tourism Roadshow in Ahmedabad on October 30, 2026. The roadshow aims to showcase the state’s diverse tourism offerings, including its rich heritage, vibrant art and culture, eco-tourism, wildlife, spectacular waterfalls and unique travel experiences. The event will provide a platform to highlight Chhattisgarh’s tourism potential and strengthen engagement with Ahmedabad’s travel trade fraternity. Chhattisgarh offers a rich mix of natural, cultural and heritage experiences, including dense forests, cascading waterfalls, ancient temples, archaeological sites, wildlife reserves, handicrafts and village homestays.

Destinations such as Bastar and Chitrakote, along with limestone caves, trekking trails and lesser-explored natural attractions, highlight the state’s potential for nature-based, adventure, spiritual and experiential tourism. Its distinctive tribal traditions and vibrant local culture further add to its appeal for travellers seeking authentic experiences.

Shri Neelu Sharma, Hon’ble Chairman, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, said, “Chhattisgarh’s natural landscapes, rich biodiversity and cultural traditions offer unique experiences for travellers. We encourage visitors and tour operators to explore the state’s diverse destinations and help bring its tourism potential to a wider audience.”

Dr. S. Bharathi Dasan (IAS), Secretary, Tourism Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, said, “From dense deciduous forests and magnificent waterfalls to ancient temples, heritage sites and traditional handicrafts, Chhattisgarh offers a diverse range of experiences. We look forward to strengthening travel trade partnerships and encouraging more visitors to discover the state.”

Shri Saumil Ranjan Chaubey (IAS), Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, said, “The roadshow provides an opportunity to connect with travel professionals, showcase the state’s varied tourism offerings and develop new partnerships. Greater collaboration can help introduce Chhattisgarh’s emerging destinations to more domestic travellers.”

Shri Jaspreet Singh Bhatia, Chair, FICCI Chhattisgarh Tourism Committee and President, Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association, said, “The roadshow creates opportunities for travel agents and tourism stakeholders to collaborate in promoting Chhattisgarh. Stronger industry connections can help increase destination awareness and encourage the inclusion of the state in domestic travel itineraries.”

The roadshow aims to familiarise Gujarat’s travel trade with Chhattisgarh’s tourism offerings, encourage tour operators to develop itineraries featuring the state and facilitate new industry partnerships. By highlighting its natural attractions, heritage, adventure opportunities and distinctive cultural experiences, the initiative seeks to position Chhattisgarh as an attractive destination for travellers looking to explore lesser-known parts of India.
