After BJP Bharatiya Janta Party and AAP Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat, now Congress party has started a series of round of meetings for next assembly elections. A lunch diplomacy meeting of Congress party was held at resdiednce of former Opposition leader Paresh Dhanani, during which discussions were held on adopting an aggressive stance before elections and presenting on issues including inflation.
On the other hand, with loss of veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel, the party has no big leader, so the stage is being set to bring back former Gujarat chief minister Shankarsinh Vaghela to the party. Shankarsinh and Bharatsinh Solanki have met four times in meeting. Bharat Solanki is maneuvering to bring Shankarsinh back to Congress party. Congress High Command will decide to bring Bapu back. Recently Bharatsinh Solanki went to Delhi. Four months ago, Shankarsinh Vaghela posted a video on Facebook saying that if Sonia Gandhi will call me for a meeting, I would go to Delhi and discuss with her. Besides, if the Congress High Command tells me, I will join Congress unconditionally.
