Today AICC All India Congress Committee President Sonia Gandhi and political advisor Ahmed Patel has condemned atrocities on Dalits in Gujarat. Such incidents in the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel are shameful. I appeal the people of Gujarat to maintain peace and harmony as violence is not a solution to any problem.
Independent enquiry to be set up in the matter is the need of the hour state Congress President.
