As on date Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. More than 1.4 million members in over 48,000 clubs are serving in 200 countries and geographic areas around the globe. Since 1917, Lions have strengthened local communities through hands-on service and humanitarian projects, and we extend our service impact through the generous support of our Lions Clubs International Foundation. We are focused on supporting vision, the environment, childhood cancer, hunger, diabetes and other pressing humanitarian needs to help address some of the biggest challenges facing humanity.
A new dimension was added today to this humanitarian and kindness efforts as an Installation Ceremony of LION CLUB OF AHMEDABAD KNOWLEDGE (Lions Club International, District 3232B1, Region 2, Zone 1/2021-22) was organized at Hotel Novotel, Ahmedabad. The Ceremony Program was sponsored by Lions Club of Sarkhej. Apart from helping the Community, the core objective of this group would also be to help business entrepreneurs to Network better, fellowship and aid each other to grow by sharing Knowledge and Business opportunities.
A brain child of Lion Bakul Parikh, the Lion Club of Ahmedabad Knowledge today installed Lion Shyam Sunder Agarwal as the Hon’ble incoming president of this Club along with Lion Mithilesh Chudgar as the Hon’ble Secretary, Lion Utkarsh Desai as the Hon. Treasurer and Lion Deepak Makwana as the 1st Vice President.
President of Lion Club of Sarkhej Lion Dinesh Lohia, Guiding Lion Daxesh Soni – Past President, Lion Bakul Parikh addressed the ceremony in the presence of distinguished guests like installing officer Lion Milan Dalal (Past District Governor), Chief Guest – Shri Ajay Jain (IRS) – Member Rtd. Special Secretary, CBIC, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India. Induction of new members was done by Lion Mukesh Patel (Past District Governor) and blessings were given by Cabinet Secretary – Shri Harish Trivedi.
