In a big news today, in Gujarat Schools to reopen for classes 9 to 11 very soon. The offline classes will resume from July 26, 2021. As per the orders issued by Gujarat government, schools have been allowed to reopen only at 50% capacity for physical classes to take place.
As per official orders, attendance will not be compulsory for students, who are willing to attend physical classes can come to schools for classes. Students are required to have a proper consent form of their parents. This is to assure that students are coming on their own and their parents’ willingness and agreement and not by coming under any undue pressure.
Gujarat Education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma said, “We will discuss and take a decision on re-opening of schools for classes 9 to 11 at the cabinet meeting scheduled. A decision on starting schools for classes to 8 will be taken by the core committee which will meet shortly.”
