Dalit elected as chairman for the first time in history of Gujarat Bar Council

In Gujarat state Bar Council,election for chairman and vice chairman posts were held. For the first time a Dalit lawyer has been elected as chairman in the history of Gujarat Bar Council. For the 17th year, BJP panel has been elected in which legal cell convenor JJ Patel played an important role. SV Raju appointed as senior council and Anil Kella in disciplinary committee. Kishore Trivedi appointed as executive committee chairman. Dilip Patel in finance committee, Dipen Dave in enrolment committee, Bakul Pandya in rules were inducted.
