Delhi Private offices adopt Work-From-Home culture in line with new Covid rules

Private offices in Delhi adopt Work-From-Home culture in line with new Covid rules to cope up with the surge in cases. Only top offices considered as very essential services will be waived.

Offices have been asked to function with 50 % employees in office and rest to work from home. Government offices in the city are working with 50 % attendance. Private banks, offices rendering essential services, insurance companies, pharma companies, microfinance companies, lawyers’ offices and courier services to follow new Covid rules in capital city. The decision was taken by DDMA Delhi Disaster Management Authority .

Yesterday, Delhi closed down restaurants and bars and only takeaways and home delivery were allowed.

Delhi had reported over 19,000 new cases yesterday, marginally lower than Sunday’s 22,751. The positivity rate stood at 25 % yesterday, the highest since May 5. The city also reported 17 deaths.
