Mumbai: The much-awaited romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L. Rai, is gearing up for its theatrical release on 28 November 2025. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, the film is being described as a spiritual successor to Rai’s 2013 blockbuster Raanjhanaa.
The film will release in Hindi and Tamil, with music composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman, adding to the excitement among audiences.
Tere Ishk Mein follows the journey of Shankar, played by Dhanush, an Indian Air Force officer who returns to Varanasi after his father’s death. The narrative explores themes of pain, guilt, redemption, and the darker shades of unrequited love. Kriti Sanon plays Mukti, a character struggling with emotional turmoil.
