Today in Ahmedabad, a unique water supply service for public has been launched with an Water ATM machine to provide 100 % pure and safe water installed at Motera. Soft water can be got by inserting one rupee into ATM machine.
In olden days, kings used to build well and step-well for tress-passers, even it was followed by a Free Water Huts set-up with charitable aim to provide free water to people on roads, near temples, gardens and public junctions.
